Hello, many of you probably know me. And You may have also heard of this recent string of arsons.
I would like to ask, when you take out that flint and steel, to think. Is it really worth it? Sure it's very fun to watch the fire engulf it's surroundings. Just not when those surroundings are someone's house.
If you feel the need to burn something, just go the nether and build something out of wood! You might not even have to use the flint if you attract the attention of a blaze or ghast!
Keep charliecraft fun for everyone! Don't burn down houses. (I like lighting fires too, but I try to contain them, like one town plot etc!)

I've disabled fire spread in the wild.

We have always disabled fire spread in the wild in the past, but this year I figured we would see how it goes. Lots of players like the ability to clear forests quickly. I am actually impressed that we were able to go 5 months without any major fire based grief.

Players can still use fire in towns, but it has to be enabled by the mayor. /town toggle fire
