Hero classes testing beta week is this week!

Today we have installed Hero classes to the server. Hero classes allow a player to choose a class such as warrior, mage, and archer and level up as such.

Heroes gain skills based on their level and can bind these skills to items to use freely in combat.

All hero classes are custom made and worked out by admins and will require extensive testing to get everything fully set up and balanced.

So please come in game and pick a hero class and level up it. Give us as much feed back as possible about damage in/out skills, level up speed and anything else you can think of.

Please also remember that this is testing week and essentially beta. All skills, class names, and requirements, and all other aspects of the hero classes are subject to change rapidly through testing time, and up to the point of full release.

If you have any questions.. Clamps456 can answer most.. I might be able to help but I have limited knowledge atm as Clamps is mainly in charge of hero class creation.

If this is something that sounds awesome to you.. Please donate so we can eat and spend more time making cool stuff like this.

    Hope you guys enjoy..

Could there be a summoner-based class? Like, they have weak stuff to say level 10, and can only wear leather armor. I'd think they could summon wolves first, then spiders, then zombies, then skeletons, then creepers. All of these have summon-limits and cost more mana over time. Also, they probably shouldn't be allowed to be healed.

I think the levelling Difference in exp is a bit steep for instance when I first became archer it was only 36xP points to level up then at level 3 it was 236! To level up and there are 50levels to achieve Wich will mean at one point I am going to need to kill all mobs on server every night, but I guess it makes the play time much longer, if anything then a slight tweak.

Also I found when I was level 2 archer I wanted to become an enchanter so when I typed in the command then typed in /confirm I think it was it said I was an enchanter however it said duros1394 is now an archer?! And at level 1 from scratch. Maybe due to it being a profession and not a class?

To the leveling curve.. that can all be adjusted.. and that is what this week of testing is for, so please keep providing this kind of feed back.

The second part however details bugs that are present in the dev build being used, and will most likely be worked out after a release for an RB bukkit.. (still no RB bukkit for 1.2).
